Stage One
We discuss your needs and wants, the size, shape and budget. All this is done either at our office or in your home, this process may take only a few hours to complete or many weeks until you are satisfied and happy to proceed to stage two.
Stage Two
A floor plan is decided upon and we discuss all aspects; positioning and your specifications are discussed. At Brad Thompson Homes we work with you on what specifications that you would like in your home. If you are unsure of what you would like but want to have an understanding of costing at set of specifications that BTH have a costing on can be used at this point to give you an understanding what costs you are looking as a rough idea.
If you know your specifications and your floor plans are completed and signed off then we can proceed to giving you a fixed price contract if we have the following items:
1. Soil Test
2. Contour Plans
3. Structural engineering plans
Stage Three
By now you have a fixed price contract and working plans. Soil testing is organized and an engineer engaged. Plans and building applications are lodged. In the meantime we finalize your colour selections.
Stage Four
Once your plans are released, work commences. This is an exciting period and we keep owners well informed at all times.
Stage Five
The decision as to where to place lights, power points and how your kitchen functions can sometimes be a little difficult to imagine when working solely from a plan. Brad Thompson Homes enables you to meet with our contractors on site to go through any details and questions that you may have of the building process.
Stage Six
On completion of your new home, we employ professional cleaners. A final check is done on the entire building and we hand over your keys. Any defects that have occurred after construction will be fixed by one of our team members.
